Convenience Center Playground & Park: 190 Groff Rd.
To schedule ballparks for group use (Little League, churches, etc.) please contact the Recreation Committee Chairman. A Certificate of Liability Insurance will need to be submitted. This recreation area is located next to the Convenience Center and includes:

Daretown Lake: Daretown Rd & Fox's Mill Rd.
Daretown Lake is located on the Salem River at the intersection of Daretown and Fox's Mill Rd. The 16 acre lake is used for recreation purposes. Fishing (a NJ fishing license is required) and boating (no outboard motor) are permitted. There is no boat ramp but there is a car top launch area. For more places to fish in New Jersey visit the NJDEP Division of Fish & Wildlife web site. Make sure to check out the restored Old Mill at this recreation area.
Elephant Swamp Trail Walking/Biking Path: Elmer Ballpark to Monroeville Rd.
The township owns the old railroad bed that runs from the back of the Elmer Ballpark to Monroeville Fire House. This 2.5 mile long unpaved path is available for residents to walk and bike. It also connects with the trail that Elk Township maintains on the same railroad bed. Click here to read more about the trail.
Upper Pittsgrove School: 235 Pine Tavern Rd.
When school is not in session the outdoor facilities may be used by residents. On school property:

6 regulation basketball courts
The use of the indoor facilities (basketball courts, gym) requires approval by the Board of Education. Contact the Board Secretary at 856-358-8163 ext.100 for more information and to request a facilities use form.
